What We Do
Beulah House is an intensive assisted-living facility providing care and comfort measures for persons who have a life-limiting illness and who do not have a willing and able caregiver. We are a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 tax status. We rely on the kindness of the community as we do not turn people away based on their ability to pay.
Our Goals
- Provide a peaceful, secure, home-like environment
- Attention to the unique and varied needs of persons with terminal illness
- Staffing ratio capable of providing indvidual care 24 hours a day
- Respect for the dignity and rights of each individual
- Support for loved ones and friends dealing with loss
- Opportunity for loved ones to particpate in caring for the individual
- Education of the community, civic groups, and individuals concerning availability of area hospice services
- Meeting place for grief support groups
